Path Mental Health is now Rula Health. And we’d like to tell you a bit about the journey that got us here.

We founded this company in 2019 because we share a personal connection to the problems we’re trying to solve — we’ve both experienced the loss of loved ones due to lack of mental healthcare access. This is why we’re passionate about our mission to make mental healthcare work for everyone.

Over the years, we’ve expanded our services to address broad behavioral health needs. Our approach to mental healthcare considers the whole person, and our new brand represents the comprehensive behavioral health solution we have become.

The name Rula

The name Rula evokes several sentiments, including “one who is a model, an example” and “beautiful, light, happiness” — these both resonate deeply with our mission. We strive to be a leader in the behavioral healthcare space, becoming a model, an example of how to improve access to quality care.  And our clinical services ultimately aim to support patients and providers in creating beautiful lives full of light and happiness.

Beyond the meaning, our new name helps us be more accessible to more people. “Rula” is unique and more easily discoverable. Mental healthcare is hard enough to find. We believe that a name like Rula will allow patients to find us, and the care they need, more quickly.

Our brand foundations

At Rula, we believe that when quality mental healthcare is more accessible, patients, providers, and payers
all benefit. This is grounded in the brand pillars that have guided our evolution, and will bring us into the future.

  • Rigorous standards: Quality is at the heart of what we do, and we’re serious about maintaining the standards we set — cutting corners simply isn’t in our DNA.
  • Therapeutic alliance: We know mental healthcare isn’t one size fits all. We believe therapy delivers the greatest benefits when patients are able to connect deeply with someone who understands them.
  • Streamlined access: We remove the hurdles that hinder access to mental healthcare.
  • End-to-end support: We approach care holistically, demystifying what’s often a complex and confusing process by removing unnecessary steps and offering unwavering support, start to back.
  • Affordable care: It’s possible for quality mental healthcare to make financial sense. It should never be prohibitively expensive and it should be covered by insurance.

What’s next

We may look and sound a little different, but our important work remains the same.

We have ambitious goals for improving mental healthcare infrastructure for patients and providers. We intend to achieve these goals as our deeply experienced clinical team continues to set new standards for quality of care and patient outcomes. We’re confident our new brand will help us get to where we’re going, and make mental healthcare work for everyone.

Yours,

Josh & Gabe
