I champion the cause, No Stigma. I believe that everyone deserves access to mental health services and to have that access with a limited wait time.
My approach
I use person-centered approaches coupled with evidence-based treatment practices to help you achieve stability and realize the life you want. For me, this means taking the time to truly understand your needs. I believe in employing unique techniques for each issue that brings a person into therapy. Expressive arts such as sand tray therapy (use of figures to represent life circumstances) can help draw conclusions and inferences about life situations and bring alternatives into view.
My focus
I specialize in the treatment of anxiety disorders and stress management. I am willing to see children (ages 5-7), couples, individuals, and families. My specialties include ADHD, anger management, anxiety, cultural stress, career counseling, job stress, and stress management.
My communication style
We will work together to build a road map with your goals in mind and review your progress. I look forward to working with you.
My journey to mental healthcare
I earned my Ph.D in Counseling Psychology from Walden University in Minneapolis, MN. My journey into mental healthcare stemmed from my strong belief that everyone deserves access to quality mental health services without long wait times or stigma.
My goals for you
My goal is to help you achieve stability, manage your stressors effectively, and realize the life you envision for yourself. I aim to truly understand your unique needs and tailor my therapeutic approach to best support you.
My first session with you
In our first session, we will discuss what brought you to therapy and begin building a roadmap together with your specific goals in mind. I will take the time to listen to your story and understand your current challenges. We will establish a strong therapeutic alliance as the foundation for our work together.
