Life can be a little bitter, like chocolate, but with the right coping skills, anything can be achieved or worked through with time and patience. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I am passionate about helping people develop skills to live a full, successful life. I offer remote telehealth sessions throughout the state of Texas. I have over 10 years of clinical experience helping individuals with anxiety, depression, stress, and relationship issues. I have worked extensively with adolescents and behavioral mental health.
My approach
I specialize in cognitive behavioral therapy, trauma-informed care, motivational interviewing, and solution-focused therapy. I approach therapy with a straightforward mindset. I believe in an open safe environment to share thoughts and feelings without judgment or disapproval.

I prefer clients with short-term needs that require assistance focusing on present issues. I am passionate about every person deserving an individualized plan specific to their needs, discovering their underlying concerns, and cultivating outcomes that better their lives.
My communication style
I believe in reflective listening and helping the client focus thought processes to further insight into present-day situations. I start the process by asking the patient about current life situations and developing a relationship along the way through empathy and reflection.
My journey to mental healthcare
I first decided to become a therapist in high school when I realized I excelled at getting people to discuss their issues. I became intrigued to discover how I could help people cope with difficult situations. I have experience in the child welfare system, working with waiver programs for disabled children, psychosocial assessments for mental health, and crisis intervention therapy.
My goals for you
Success is the client facing a situation utilizing the tools developed from mutual communication from sessions. Clients should feel empowered to take steps toward seeking happiness and fulfilled lives. Clients can expect to develop skills to deal with symptoms and begin recognizing triggers.
My first session with you
Sessions are client lead. After discussing confidentiality, no-show policy, and contact information, I allow the client to discuss what they seek in therapy and current issues. I help the client develop an initial treatment plan and focus on goals that can be achievable through measured means.
