Hello! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with experience treating a wide range of problems including anxiety, depression, substance use disorders, relationship issues, adjustment disorders, and severe mental illness.
My approach
I primarily use a Cognitive-Behavioral approach to assist clients in conceptualizing their needs and establishing treatment goals. However, I have experience in various treatment modalities and strongly believe in using all of the tools and resources available to ensure a client-centered approach. We will work together to develop a plan that highlights your strengths and aligns with your preferences and needs.
My focus
I am willing to see minors (ages 13-17), individuals, couples, and families. My specialties include treating anxiety, depression, relationship issues, ADHD, addiction, anger management, coping skills, emotional disturbance, family conflict, panic attacks, oppositional defiance, self-esteem, relapse prevention, dual diagnosis, developmental disorders, and mood disorders.
My communication style
I am committed to providing a safe, supportive space for you to explore the problems in your life without judgment. We will work together to explore areas of your life where you may need some extra support, and develop goals that will allow you to achieve personal growth and successfully manage the stressors that are weighing you down.
My journey to mental healthcare
I earned my Master of Social Work degree and completed my clinical training hours for licensure from August 2018 to August 2021 at Erie County Forensic Mental Health in Buffalo, NY.
My goals for you
Whether you're facing a new challenge or feeling stuck in an unhealthy cycle or pattern of behavior, I am here to support you in making positive changes in your life. My goal is to empower you to achieve personal growth, develop coping skills, and successfully manage life's stressors.
My first session with you
In our first session, we will discuss what is bringing you to therapy and what you hope to achieve. I will gather some background information and we will begin to develop a treatment plan tailored to your specific needs, strengths, and preferences. You will have the opportunity to ask any questions you may have about the therapeutic process. If you think we might be a good fit, please feel free to reach out!
