My name is Kynnedi Tripplett, LCSW. My therapeutic style is open-minded, empathetic, and laid back. I like to meet people where they are and help them to reach their personal goals in relationships, learn more about themselves, and step more into who they want to be.

My approach to therapy at this level of care is influenced heavily by CBT, DBT, and ACT modalities.
My focus
I have experience working with clients who are struggling with symptoms of anxiety, depression & life transitions. Most of my experience is with adolescents and young adults. I enjoy working with folks of diverse backgrounds like LGBTQIA+, BIPOC, and families.
My communication style
I like to create an environment for clients to feel heard and understood, first and foremost. I like to take time to build rapport with clients to determine what they need from a therapist. Some people prefer a challenge, while others need more grace. I am able to take on whatever tone feels most comfortable for you at that time in your life.
My journey to mental healthcare
I became a therapist because I am passionate about self-improvement. I wanted to connect people to tools to overcome dysfunction and live more satisfying lives.

Your goals are yours!! I am here to support you and your goals in a therapeutic way. I do not believe that I am able to make goals for you. I may make suggestions or ask questions to help you to adopt a new perspective, but this journey is yours to guide.
My first session with you
During our first session, we will be mostly building rapport, discussing your background & experience with therapy, and discussing current symptoms.
