Hi there, I'm Savannah!

Welcome, I'm Savannah Williams, a clinically licensed therapist (LCPC). I am more than excited that you took the step to seek support and care for your mental health and I look forward to meeting you!

My approach

My approach is always client-centered. I meet you where you are and we work together with trust, empathy, and understanding. I most often use ACT, CBT, DBT, and mindfulness modalities to help get you to where you need to be and utilize skills to maintain that progress. These modalities will help you understand and target specific behavioral or thought patterns you want to change.

My focus

I work with children, adolescents, young adults, and adults. I have experience in treating anxiety, depression, mood disorders, trauma, stress management, life transitions, and school refusal/anxiety.

My communication style

Creating a safe space for you to grow and heal is my number 1 job! I will go at your pace, while also challenging and pushing you when needed. After sessions, you will leave with tangible work and resources that will aid you in your progression. The work continues even after our sessions!

My journey to mental healthcare

During the first session, we will go through informed consent and safety and build our therapeutic relationship. Afterward, we will begin talking about where you would like to start with treatment.

My goals for you

After my first AP psychology class in high school, I knew what my life's purpose was. My drive is knowing I am making a difference in people's lives and spreading mental health resources to those in need.

My first session with you

Goal setting is very important and often times the compass that guides us during treatment. Together, we will put together specific goals and a treatment plan, in your own words, and break those goals down into obtainable achievements.
