My approach
Since there’s no “one size fits all” in counseling, I use a holistic approach based on the unique needs of each individual. Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) or Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy (TFCBT) are most often used to help clients better understand how their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors all interact and affect well-being.

My focus areas of practice include depression, anxiety, and trauma processing. I have extensive experience working with adolescents and young adults.
My communication style
I aim to create a safe, warm, nonjudgmental environment. Clients have described me as genuine and easy to talk to. It is important for me to build a good therapeutic relationship with clients consisting of three essential qualities: an emotional bond of trust, caring, and respect; agreement on the goals of therapy; and collaboration on the "work" or tasks of the treatment. Together we will learn about your strengths and develop coping skills to overcome difficulties so that you can move forward in a positive direction. Thank you for your consideration.
