Life is a journey full of struggles and challenges that, combined with life endeavors, help create who we are today and forge who we will become tomorrow. As your therapist, I will strive to provide you with the tools and resources you will need along your journey to become a healthier and happier individual.
My approach
My approach is to meet you where you are while encouraging you to build and grow into your best self. We are all unique; therefore, my therapy is not a one-size-fits-all. I believe in encouraging clients to be their advocates. I will support, listen to, and challenge you while providing the tools that best fit your goals.
My focus
I enjoy working with individuals who are experiencing challenges and difficult stressors. As a trauma-trained therapist, I work with individuals who struggle with anxiety, depression, parental issues, life adjustments, PTSD, abuse, attachments, and relationship problems.
My communication style
Counseling is where you should be allowed to express yourself in a non-judgmental atmosphere while being supported, gaining new skills, and learning to make positive changes. Together we will find the best strategy that will help you reach your individual goals.
My journey to mental healthcare
I earned my Master in Counseling (MC) degree from the University of the Cumberlands in Williamsburg, KY, completing the program from February 2017 to August 2019. This education provided me with the foundation to pursue my passion for helping others navigate life's challenges.
My goals for you
My goal is to empower you with the tools and self-awareness needed to overcome obstacles, build resilience, and lead a more fulfilling life. Through our therapeutic work together, I aim to help you gain new perspectives, develop healthier coping mechanisms, and foster personal growth.
My first session with you
During our first session, we will focus on understanding your unique situation, identifying your goals for therapy, and establishing a strong therapeutic alliance built on trust and open communication. This will lay the groundwork for our journey together towards healing and positive change.
