Greetings! My name is Tynisha, and I'm a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. I know it can be difficult to decide to start therapy, and I'm honored that you've taken the first step. Together, we will journey on your path of healing and growth using an integrative approach to focus on your mental, physical, and emotional being.
My approach
My approach to therapy is integrative, in which we explore your mental, physical, and emotional being. I am knowledgeable in CBT, DBT-informed, Trauma-informed, Solution Focused, Motivational Interviewing, and RBT. The treatment method will be tailored to each client's uniqueness.
My focus
Having over 19 years of professional experience allows me to better serve adolescents, teens, and adults who may struggle with emotional stressors, anxiety, depression, adjustments, trauma, work/life balance concerns, impulse control disorders, and behavior modifications. My first session with you
I work with many clients facing depression, anxiety, stress, self-esteem issues, and life adjustments. At our initial session, we will gather historical and current information by exploring your issues in depth and making a plan to work together to improve your experience in life. Most of my clients began to experience awareness and decreased symptoms within the first month of consistent therapy.
