Hi there, I'm Ishmel!

Hello and welcome! My name is Ishmel Cerisier, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Central Florida. I have over 8 years of experience working with adults and couples. I offer services via Telehealth only. My areas of expertise are Relationship/Conflict issues, Depression, Anxiety, Anger Management, Self Esteem/Self Image, Employment, Parenting, and Long Haul Covid mental health symptoms. I have also worked with trauma-related and personality disorders. My approach is warm, supportive, and compassionate. I believe in a person-centered-based perspective to empower each client within their individual needs and utilize multiple therapeutic modalities including cognitive-behavioral therapy, dialectical-behavioral therapy, solution-focused brief therapy, and Emotional Focused Therapy-Couples. My goal is to help clients feel better in the midst of their stressful experiences. My therapeutic style has been known to empower individuals to reach their full potential.
