My name is Kim Stone, I am a Licensed Professional Counselor. I am compassionate, understanding, and supportive. I care deeply about others and the struggles life brings. I believe every person can make positive changes. I will meet you where you are in life.
My approach
I provide Client/Person-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), and Motivation Interviewing Therapy.
My focus
I provide effective counseling in the areas of stress, anxiety, depression, grief & loss, relationship issues, life changes, issues, abuse sexual/emotional/physical), and loneliness.

My journey to mental healthcare
I was working in loss prevention, and I felt I was adding to the problem. When I would sit with someone, I was able to understand their situation. One stop in particular was very upsetting and that is when I decided to go to graduate school for counseling.
My goals for you
I discuss what therapy goals are and I work with the clients to set their goals.

I like to introduce myself. Complete intake questions and allow them to ask questions.
