Hi there, I'm Kerrie!

My name is Kerrie Mazeika and am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Wisconsin working with patients statewide via telehealth. My clients find me nonjudgmental and open-minded. You are in the driver's seat. I am the passenger that will help you find your way back.

My approach

My therapeutic approach varies based on the client's presenting circumstances and needs. I most frequently use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Relational Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, and Reflective Practice. These modalities can often be intertwined drawing out coping mechanisms and interventions that assist the patient in meeting their treatment goals.

My focus

Typically, I work with children through adults, from a variety of backgrounds and varied presenting concerns. My experience includes treatment of depression and anxiety, addiction, relationship/relational issues, adjustment disorders, eating disorders, and marriage and family.

My communication style

My communication style is non-directive yet engaging with thoughtful and provoking moments of realization.

My journey to mental healthcare

I wanted to become a therapist because people deserve to have the life they want. Through the relational and therapeutic process, I have seen people restore their life in ways they never thought possible. It remains a blessing to be a part of that journal with them.

My goals for you

You are not alone. Fear, anger, anxiety, insecurity are some ways our minds inform us that we are in need of something more. Maybe it is quitting an unhealthy habit, discovering who you are, or setting new boundaries in relationships. I will work with you to discover how to change the behavior or thought patterns that may be keeping you from thriving and feeling empowered in your own life.

My first session with you

You can expect that in our first session, we will be building rapport but also understanding how your life has been impacted in a way that requires additional support. My hope is that we can build upon what has worked for you in the past and what is preventing you from achieving the life you want now. We will start with small incremental and achievable goals giving you the confidence you need to get you back to your baseline.
