My journey to mental healthcare
My journey to becoming a therapist began with a deep-seated passion for helping others and a fascination with the human mind. Growing up in the Bahamas, I witnessed the impact of mental health challenges within my community and felt a strong calling to make a difference. My academic and professional journey took me across the globe, allowing me to gain over 10 years of international experience as a therapist, school counselor, and consultant. I’ve been where you are right now—in a place where you’re grappling with decisions, overwhelmed, feeling like you’re drowning, screaming without a sound. I want to help you find your voice, your joy, and your peace, and discover the reason you exist on this planet. What attracted me to a career as a therapist was the profound potential for transformation and healing that therapy offers.
