Hello, my name is Istvan Feldman and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Washington State. My approach to therapy incorporates various aspects of cognitive and dialectal behavioral therapies. My focus areas include addiction, ADHD, autism, bipolar, and personality disorders.
My approach
I believe thorough assessment is the crucial first step in collaboratively developing a course of treatment that will be the most effective for my clients. Common therapeutic approaches I utilize include CBT, DBT, SFT, and Psychodynamic Therapy.

My client focus are individuals who may be experiencing addiction, ADHD, autism, bipolar, and personality disorders. Young adults are the primary population I most often treat.
My communication style
My communication style is clear, precise, and direct. I believe an objective and nonjudgemental presentation to clients can be critical for progressing forward in therapy. I have a calm, quiet, and investigative style during many client interactions.
My journey to mental healthcare
I have always been fascinated by the brain and how it functions. The opportunity I have as a therapist to help clients achieve their goals, feel relief, and be heard is like no other.
My goals for you
I believe tangible goals are important. Specific behavioral interventions, emotional regulation, or communication strategies may be suggested at times to incorporate between sessions.
My first session with you
Clients should expect a thorough assessment of their mental health and overall well-being in the first session. Questionnaires may be provided for you to complete during the first session as a means to quantify therapeutic progression at a later date. Opportunities will be provided for clients to relay any comments, questions, or concerns they may have.
