Hello, I’m Cat Bozek. I’ve been a psych nurse practitioner since 2010. I’ve had the honor of working with folks from all walks of life. I’m here to listen without judgment, offer strength-based reflection questions, and provide evidence-based treatment options, including medication management.
My approach
My approach to providing quality mental health care begins with listening. I work for you, and my job is to adapt to individual needs to create trust and rapport. I believe in using evidence-based practices, having sustainable goals, and compassion first and foremost.
My focus
Common symptoms addressed in sessions include depressed mood, anxiety, trauma, sleep/appetite concerns, self-esteem, grief, substance abuse issues. I have extensive experience working with the LGBTQIA community.
My communication style
I believe in focusing on your unique positive strengths first and building from there. My communication style is keeping it real, professional, and authentic.
My journey to mental healthcare
I’ve experienced a lot, working in inpatient settings, homeless shelters, jails, residential housing, and have extensive outpatient experience, both in person and telepsych. I believe we are all works in progress, who have much to share and grow. I look forward to discussing how to bring more hope into your future.
My goals for you
Finding ways to measure one’s progress is important and I can help with that.
My first session with you
