Hi, my name is Anthony Mucci. I am passionate about helping and serving others! I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, relationship issues, trauma and abuse, chronic pain, & depression. I work with my clients to create an open and safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment and utilize EMDR therapy along with CBT/DBT/Existential therapy.
My approach
I meet my clients where they are at. Unconditional positive regard is the basis for developing a good therapeutic relationship. I believe in being as authentic and sincere as possible to provide a compassionate, caring, and safe place where clients are free to be vulnerable and themselves. No judgment, just truth and grace. My focus
I work with clients who are struggling with trauma, depression, anxiety, chronic pain, etc. I take a holistic approach in implementing education and mental/behavioral approaches to the physical, psychological, social, and spiritual aspects of the person. I believe all our negative thoughts and behaviors are rooted in trauma. I use EMDR to help heal the root and not just manage the symptoms.
My communication style
My hope is that you will ultimately feel loved. "Love (Agape/Unconditional) never fails." You will gain new skills, coping strategies, and actual healing. I will always strive to do what is best for you. I am no stranger to receiving help with the things I've been through. I get it! My journey to mental healthcare
It started in my years as a teenager after being radically saved and transformed by Jesus Christ. I was 15 years old when I was at the end of my rope, planning to take my own life. After my Christ gave me a new life with a reason to live, I began my calling to reach out to my peers and community who were going through depression and suicidality, finding my passion for helping others through what I so intimately was acquainted with to instill love and hope. After my military service, I suffered from Chronic pain conditions that left me with severe anxiety and depression, and I embarked on a healing journey with 7 years of counseling. I knew that this was always the calling of my life and grew even more passionate about making this my life work professionally so I can help others heal.

My first session with you
I often use EMDR Therapy as my approach. In our sessions, I will provide education on EMDR as an evidence-based intervention and instruct on CBT/DBT skills and resource development installations (RDIs) to build positive mental supports to bring distress down rapidly. In the proceeding sessions, we will take histories and reprocess traumas. EMDR is the difference between coping and healing holistically
