Hi there, I'm Kristen!

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the Commonwealth of Virginia. I have 15 years of experience partnering with adults, children, couples, and families, seeking help with adjusting to life transitions, depression, anxiety, relationship issues, and long-lasting mental health challenges. I completed my Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Master of Arts in Professional Counseling from Liberty University. I value a person-centered, collaborative, and integrative approach to treatment. This means I tailor the treatment approach to your needs. I incorporate evidence-based techniques, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness, motivational interviewing, and solution-focused counseling. My style is warm and supportive, and I value the therapeutic relationship when working toward goals.
