I am Karee Stosich, a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I value authenticity and integrity. l am invested in helping others find success, hope, and healing. I work with you to establish goals suitable for your issues and problems according to your beliefs and values.
My approach
In addition to my life experience and formal education, my professional skills were developed while working with a variety of diverse people. I use attachment-focused therapies, CBT, ACT, Gottman, and expressive arts therapy. I also have specialized training in EMDR, trauma focused cognitive behavioral therapy, and grief counseling.
My focus
I commonly treat depression, anxiety, postpartum depression, PTSD & trauma, and grief. I always welcome those who would like to do individual 14 +, couples or family counseling.

A lifetime of personal experience with mental health and family issues has contributed to my ability to treat complex problems with empathy and compassion. I am very loyal to my clients and love to work with them in collaborative ways to help people heal with hope and dignity.
My journey to mental healthcare
I have had my own struggles with depression and anxiety and trauma. I was very curious about how mental illness affects family members and relationships, so I became a therapist through the family therapy route. Understanding mental illness within the lens of family dynamics and relationships has changed everything for me. I was able to forgive others and myself. I know offer you a chance to do the same.
