I'm Leslie Trammell. I'm licensed clinical professional counselor. I'm passionate about supporting my clients in all areas of their lives.
My approach
I take a holistic integrative approach, utilizing multiple modalities to individualize my client's therapy. I commonly use CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, Psychodynamic, Narrative and Person-Centered approaches to therapy.
My focus
I often work with clients who are experiencing a faith transition, faith crisis and life transitions. Many of clients are also having relationship issues. Most of my clients are struggling with anxiety and depression and have a desire to gain coping skills.
My communication style
I bring life experience and maybe even a little bit of humor to my client's sessions. Whether my clients want to heal from the past, improve the present or protect their future, I offer a safe space for the exploration of each goal.
My journey to mental healthcare
I began my journey many years ago but put it on hold to raise my daughters. I went back to school later in life and completed my bachelors and masters. I have always been told that I'm a good listener and people are comfortable talking with me. I turned that into a career. I have a passion for helping others and honored that my clients share their deeply personal stories and journey with me.
My goals for you
My approach to goal setting is led by my clients. It is their goals that need to be achieved, not mine.
My first session with you
In a first session, we will go over any signed paperwork and I will ask if you have questions or concerns. Those will be addressed. I want my clients to feel comfortable and we will begin each session where you feel comfortable. I will ask questions along the way get clarity.
