Hi there, I'm Krystal!
Hello, my name is Krystal Muniz and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Licenced Chemical Dependency Counselor in Texas. I am trained in trauma work and work with people who have substance use issues. I like working with anger management people as well. My approach is to help the misfit feel seen in a life that makes them feel less than.
My approach
I use EMDR and recently started training in Brainspotting. I also use CBT and other modalities because counseling is not a one-size-fits-all.
My focus
I focus on any client who has ever felt unseen or misunderstood in life. I don't have a preferred client as that emphasizes the need to be perfect in a world full of differences. I will accept you any way you show up.
My communication style
I am relaxed and adapt my style to you. Clients have said, I am a safe place and while I can confront I do it in a way that does not make them feel bad.
