Hi there, I'm Tari!

Hi, I'm Tari Dempsey! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) who is passionate about supporting all of my clients through challenges to experience healing and growth in their lives. I focus on cultivating relationships within families while navigating identified challenges. I believe in working collaboratively with clients while identifying goals of therapy.

My approach

My approach is solution-focused. I will work with you incorporating positive psychology principles and practices, which help you change by constructing solutions rather than focusing on problems.

I work with teens to older adults. I specialize in symptoms of depression, anxiety, relationship issues ie. I believe in mindfulness and positive approach to client-related issues.

My communication style

I am an effective communicator utilizing motivational interviewing. I encourage self-affirmations and help clients to explore and resolve ambivalence.

I am passionate about people, and I believe in change, restoration, and renewal of self. I am driven by outcomes and clients reporting empowerment and change.
