Krystal Wurm, 84688. I approach therapy as a partnership with my clients in which you are the ultimate decision-maker and I work with you to clear away obstacles and identify opportunities. My clients have successfully overcome depression, anxiety, OCD, trauma, marital stress, parent-child difficulties, domestic violence, substance abuse, bipolar disorder, and anger issues. My specialties include working with the LGBTQIA2S+ community and working with teens!
My approach
As your therapist, I'll provide a non-judgmental space where you can speak freely. I have been diagnosed with OCD, Anxiety, Depression, and ASD I understand many of the symptoms clients experience.
My focus
In addition to working in private practice for the past few years, I have previously worked with low-income communities and marginalized families providing therapy.
My communication style
I'll provide a non-judgmental space where you can speak freely.
My journey to mental healthcare
At 13, I was diagnosed with ADHD and ASD. I had also lost my father the same year. I had the guidance and direction of a school therapist that influenced my interest in becoming an LPC.
My goals for you
Once you learn how to reduce and stop engaging in avoiding activities, you'll learn how to tolerate anxiety, distress, and discomfort better and reduce obsessions and intrusive thoughts.
My first session with you
Before starting treatment, it's important to ask yourself the question, “Is it possible to get better?” I accept you as who you are and realize that you are not your diagnosis. As disruptive as symptoms can be, we can help you find the best possible version of yourself. I'm here to help you obtain a better quality of life.
