Hi there, I'm Cheryl!

What are some of the goals in trying to start a counseling relationship? Find someone who listens, whom you can trust and will help with a better understanding of issues. I want to give people the space to speak their minds in a safe place without judgment or blame. I believe that healing works best when you use a variety of tools to help with a problem. If your past mistakes in relationships and life seem to be repeating itself, use a fresh pair of eyes to look at things. I specialize in many techniques that focus on neuroplasticity- the fact that the brain can make a new pathway to work differently. When I attended college, I knew I wanted to help people. Along the way, I have worked with child abuse cases, chronic mentally ill people, injured combat veterans, trauma, and most recently overall sexual health- whether it is about sexual functioning, sexual addictions, porn use, sexual abuse, sex trafficking, alternative lifestyles as well as orientation. I would love to meet you and start a plan forward- whether for things listed already or depression, anxiety, and stress ( at work, home, marriage, or family).
