Hello! My name is Amanda Rogers and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor. My focus is creating an environment with a strong therapeutic alliance where a client can feel safe and secure while processing stressors.
My approach
I strive for open and honest communication to create a healthy and safe environment to process life stressors. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Experiential, Solution Focused, Gestalt, and several other therapeutic approaches to meet the client's needs.
My focus
I work with individuals 18+. I have worked and feel comfortable working with addiction, trauma, OCD, depression, mood disorders, grief, divorce and other anxiety related disorders.
My communication style
I like to have a balanced environment with open and honest communication. A mixture of fun and seriousness that leads to a strong therapeutic relationship growth and healing can occur.
My journey to mental healthcare
I have gone through my own mental health journey due to various traumatic incidences. I started going to therapy and I realized I want to help others like I was being helped.
