Hello, Thank You for browsing my profile. I am Kimberly Rogers, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with a master's degree in social work with over 10 years of experience working with various agencies and organizations as a therapist to meet your needs. I look forward to building a great connection and providing excellent service to help you meet your goals of becoming the best version of yourself as you progress in each session.
My approach
My approach to meeting the client where they are is utilizing these modalities: Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Coaching. I also include mindfulness to be aware of thoughts and emotions to promote relaxation to help the client strive and build on strength to progress toward their desired goals.
My focus
My client's approach is working with adults, adolescents, and Veterans with a collective modality approach, such as Cognitive Behavior Therapy, when they struggle with depression, anxiety, ADHD, substance abuse, life skills, community resources, career issues, and more.
My communication style
My communication style is relaxing and calm, allowing you to be yourself in a safe and healthy environment. Feel free to ask questions and any questions to help with your progress. There is no judgment zone here.
My journey to mental healthcare
I became a therapist because I saw a need to help individuals in my community become the best version of themselves. Because of my passion for helping individuals in many dynamic settings, I saw a great need in my community because of the lack of resources and health and mental health awareness. With these skills and knowledge gained, I can educate a safe and healthy lifestyle in a community among those in need of service.
My first session with you
What your first session would look like? Ask you questions to help me understand what you want from the session. This may proceed with additional questions about your life expectations. In this session, I will invite a safe space so that you can express your thoughts and feelings in each session from the beginning to the end.
