Charles Cobble

I am Charles Cobble a licensed clinical social worker offering therapy services that are tailored to the individual needs of each client. I am a proud Army Veteran, who served as a mental health provider to over 1500 soldiers in Kuwait. I have worked extensively in the Veteran and LGBTQ+ community. I am passionate about improving mental health.

My approach

My approach to therapy is both caring and compassionate, focused on helping clients identify and address their personal goals. I utilize a solution focused approach incorporating clinical hypnosis, cognitive behavioral therapy and cognitive processing therapy.

My focus

I work with adults who are experiencing depression, anxiety, grief or any other issue. We will work together to find the best therapeutic approach for you and help you develop the skills and mindset to find relief and the courage to make changes in your life.

My communication style

I focus on a strength based and direct approach to therapy. I work to empower my clients to make positive changes in their life through a welcoming non-judgmental environment.

My journey to mental healthcare

I began my career as a grassroots individual helping elderly in my community. After seeing the struggle of individuals experiencing depression and anxiety combined with physical disabilities, I choose to seek my Masters in Social Work so that I could most efficiently assist those experiencing mental health concerns.

Goal setting should revolve around the clients most troubling issue and their feeling of resolution.

During the first session, clients will get to know me as a therapist and learn about the different approaches to therapy so that the client can determine which approach is best for them.
