My name is Lisa Corbett, and I have over 25 years of mental health experience. I am licensed in Tennessee, North Carolina, and South Carolina. I strive to provide clients with a safe, non-judgemental space to freely share issues or concerns.
My approach
I utilize a variety of therapeutic approaches. Depending on the needs of the client, we may work with mindfulness, brief solution-focused, client-centered, or cognitive behavior therapy.
My focus
I work with adult clients within the age groups of 25-75. I have worked with clients dealing with anxiety, medical issues, depression, weight management, grief, and stress management.
My communication style
I attempt to create a safe space and offer clients compassion and humility.
My journey to mental healthcare
I come from a long history of caregivers in some capacity, from nursing to social work. I enjoy helping people and seeing them reach their full potential.
My goals for you
In setting goals, I work with the client, and we identify together the goals the client wishes to work on during their time in treatment.
My first session with you
The first session will be an assessment where I may ask several questions to determine why the client is seeking services.
