My name is Rosalyn Capps and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of South Carolina. My focus is on helping you to overcome barriers to living the life that you desire.
My approach
One shoe does not fit all, that is the way that I approach therapy. I am very person-centered with my approach. I use a range of different therapy interventions that are presented in everyday, easy to understand language. I mostly use Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.
My focus
I typically work with clients that are experiencing depression, anxiety, family and interpersonal relationship issues, work stress, grief and loss and managing life circumstances.
My communication style
I create a safe, caring and non-judgemental environment for my clients. I allow everyone the freedom to be themselves and to help clients with identifying their strengths.
My journey to mental healthcare
I became a therapist because I want everyone to know that they are valued, worthy and that they can create a life of enjoyment and purpose.
My goals for you
Goal setting is strength-based and person centered.
My first session with you
During the first session, clients should expect uninterrupted freedom to share their life experiences, who they are and their goals to live a more balanced and happier life.
