My name is Samer Sayed and I am a Licensed Independent Social Worker-Clinical Practice and a trained mental health clinician with over 3 years of experience in the mental health field. I work with my clients to help with relationships, career difficulties, life transitions, anxiety, parenting, school issues, and many other challenges. I completed my Master of Social Work (MSW) at the University of Louisville. I am a trained clinician and a social worker and sees my clients up close, especially their environment and how it impacts their lives. This enables me to provide the guidance and support my clients are seeking.

My journey to mental healthcare
Oh! the long or the short version!! I started my life trying to find something I like so, I started with working as an engineer and then after a while, I just reliazed that I prefer the human connection and to work with others trying to make a difference in the community. I had a Master degree in Social work along with a LISW-CP in SC and close to 4 years in experience in substance use treatment, individual and couple therapy along with family and parenting education too. I found it very satisfying and rewarding and I really love what I do and I hope you would feel my energy as a client!

My first session with you
every thing positive at the first session when I listen for the first 15 mins to your description of the stress and then we have a converstation about the needs and the priorities before we talk about goals and expectation in therapy
