I'm Lisa Jackson-Wardlaw, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker offering compassionate counseling services via Telehealth. With over 15 years of experience across community, inpatient, and outpatient behavioral health settings, I specialize in guiding individuals through various life challenges.
My approach
In my practice, I adopt an eclectic, warm, and genuine counseling style. Grounded in cognitive-behavioral, humanistic, and psychodynamic approaches, I strive to create a safe space where clients can explore the core of their challenges. My philosophy centers on person-centered care, treating each individual with respect, sensitivity, and compassion.
My focus
I've had the privilege of working with diverse clients grappling with trauma, depression, anxiety, career transitions, and learning disabilities. A particular focus of mine lies in counseling individuals facing co-occurring learning disabilities and mental health diagnoses. Additionally, I am a certified Peer Visitor for the Amputee Coalition, providing support and guidance to those navigating life after limb loss.
