My communication style
My communication style is calm and direct in a non-threatening manner and genuinely care for people. I like to believe the individuals I work with feel connected have a sense of belonging and feel valued.
My journey to mental healthcare
I believe in people and in the living, breathing scenic route we all experience to get to where we are and to where we are going. I have personal, familial, and social experience in a wide range of life events. I found myself needing help and am so grateful to have met people in professional and social-network settings who made such tremendous impacts on me that I was able to start believing enough in myself to make the changes in my life that were powerfully profound and fulfilling. I strive to be of service in the best capacity I am able.
My goals for you
Goals are individually based and are flexible. I find it beneficial to review and adjust goals as warranted during the time we have together.
My first session with you
During our first session, a true sense of being heard and valued can be expected. You will find I am genuinely interested in you and in knowing how I may best provide you with the care you are looking for. If we decide we are a "good fit", we will develop a realistic plan to establish and work on your goals.
