Ronnie Butler, LPC - Licensed Professional Counselor In Oklahoma, Texas, & New Mexico (LPCC). I've been practicing Counseling/Psychotherapy for over 25 years. I also hold an endorsement from the Oklahoma Board of Behavioral Health as a Clinical Supervisor for LPC Interns.
My approach
My approach to therapy can best be described as multi-disciplinary, eclectic, with solid foundations in Client-Centered and Cognitive Behavioral models. Establishing trust in our therapeutic relationship is crucial to facilitate positive changes, achieve goals for treatment, and help you realize your potential.
My focus
Currently my focus is on adult patients, men and women that have either been in mental health treatment, or they are seeking help for the first time. I'm looking forward to meeting with you to assist with mood disorders, depression, bipolar disorders, anxiety, adult ADHD, and other stress related issues.
My communication style
"Rather than particular techniques, the far greater predictors of positive outcomes are therapeutic relationships, or counselor qualities in therapeutic relationships that capitalize on clients' internal strengths." Jeff Cochran and Nancy Cochran, 2015
My journey to mental healthcare
My decision to study counseling psychology was influenced important college professors that have been mentors and friends during my education and career.
My goals for you
We work together to set healthy, attainable, and measurable therapeutic goals.
My first session with you
In our initial session we will get to know one another. We can discuss some background information about what brought us to this point, and what is going on currently.
