Hi there, I'm Elizabeth!

My name is Elizabeth Boblitt and I am a licensed professional clinical counselor in Ohio with 20 years of professional work experience. I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, trauma and abuse, motivation, self-esteem, and confidence, & bipolar disorder. I believe that you are the expert on your story and that you have many strengths that will assist you in overcoming things that challenge you. It takes courage to seek out a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a change. I am here to support & empower you in that journey.

My approach

Cognitive behavioral therapy is one of the most common theoretical approaches. I take a person-centered approach to my work with clients. I also like to use mindfulness and a variety of other therapeutic techniques.

My focus

I enjoy working primarily with adults but also have a lot of experience working with teens and adolescents. I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, trauma and abuse, motivation, self-esteem, and confidence, & bipolar disorder. I am willing to work with clients who would like a faith-based or Christian approach to counseling as well.

My communication style

I have a relaxed approach and style to therapy. I want you to feel comfortable in session and I am willing to provide the support that is needed to help you with your challenges in life.

My journey to mental healthcare

When I was younger, people would often come to me when help was needed. I decided to study more about the helping professions and decided I wanted to become a counselor for my life's work. Seeing people make healthy changes in their lives drives me to continue to do this work.

My goals for you

I will work with you to identify what goals are most important to you. You are the most important person in deciding what changes you want to make. I am here to help guide you through these changes.

My first session with you

Clients should expect a person who is caring and will take the time to listen to their cares and concerns. I will provide feedback, ideas, and support to help you with your counseling goals.
