My communication style
I am communicate with my clients somewhat casually, but also hold my client's accountable to the goals and boundaries that they work on setting for themselves during the work we do together.
My journey to mental healthcare
I knew when I started my journey to get my Master's in Social Work, that I wanted to help people. I have been working with different individuals, typically from a medical perspective since 2013, but when I obtained my Independent License in 2023, I knew I wanted to take the step into therapy and helping others on a deeper level. I am passionate about helping others, listening and hopefully providing a safe space for clients to express themselves honestly and grow.
My goals for you
I follow the person-centered approach. I allow clients to determine what is best for them and where they are at currently, with my assistance with suggestions and tips to make the process successful.
My first session with you
The first session is an introductory session where I try to utilize a psychosocial assessment to determine where the client is currently in their life (relationship, family, employment, religion, etc.) and learn about their childhood as well as any future goals or plans.
