Hi there, I'm Danielle!

Hi! My name is Danielle Arnett and I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor based in Ohio. I am dedicated to guiding individuals toward realizing their inherent strengths and unlocking their potential. With a diverse background in wellness and education, I offer support in various areas, including but not limited to stress, anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, and life/career transitions.

My approach

My approach is client-centered and grounded in cognitive-behavioral and dialectical behavioral techniques, empowering clients to cultivate new perspectives and functional ways of thinking. As an EMDR-trained practitioner, I provide support in processing trauma and facilitating healing journeys. I believe in meeting clients where they are and tailoring my approach to suit their unique needs and preferences. Wellness is my passion, and I'm committed to helping clients succeed!

My focus

I have found that my style and approach are a good fit for people who may be dealing with the challenges of life and social pressures. This often takes the form of anxiety, depression, stress, and disordered eating. I work to help my clients navigate the pressures of life and to build skills to allow them to feel better and function well.

My communication style

I offer a warm, non-judgmental environment where you can share, learn, and grow. Every individual holds immense value, and my goal is to help them experience peace, joy, and productivity in their lives. I invite you to embark on a journey towards self-discovery and growth, where together, we'll navigate challenges and celebrate successes along the way.

My journey to mental healthcare

I decided to become a therapist because I have always enjoyed helping people. From being raised by parents who fostered 30+ children in our home, to volunteering in my community, and being a trusted and loyal friend, I have always been drawn to helping people through difficult times. I enjoy watching individuals become the best versions of themselves.

My goals for you

My communication style is pleasant, accommodating, and personable. I want my clients to feel comfortable talking with me about anything. My approach to communication reflects my core values of respect, honesty, and compassion for all people.

My first session with you

In our first session together, you can expect the majority of our time spent discussing how you have been feeling recently, and me asking questions to better understand what might be contributing factors. The first session is about us building an initial connection and helping me get a sense of where we should go from there. Each individual is unique, and I like to listen first to better know what will work best for you moving forward.
