Hello, I am Andrea Aldrich, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and I have been practicing in the field for over 12 years. I work primarily with adults who are struggling with managing their emotions and other difficult challenges or life changes they may be facing. I am committed to helping my clients reach their personal and therapeutic goals by building and strengthening their inner self.
My approach
I use a person-centered approach to therapy, meeting the client where they are at. I incorporate an array of therapeutic approaches into treatment depending on the needs of the client as well as working to build and strengthen their skills. My goal is to create a supportive and safe environment where we can do the work together.
My focus
I work with clients who are experiencing symptoms of anxiety, depression, grief/loss, and any other emotional discomfort that they are struggling to manage. I also work with clients who are struggling to navigate life changes.
My communication style
My goal is to create a safe and supportive environment for my clients where they feel they can be their true self without judgment or restriction.
My journey to mental healthcare
I was always told I have a natural ability to be sensitive and compassionate towards others. I have always been curious to understand human behavior and why we do the things we do and I am also passionate about helping others. This leads me down the path to becoming a therapist. It is rewarding and fulfilling to be able to help others by empowering them, supporting them, and providing a way they can help themselves.
My goals for you
I work with my clients to set realistic and attainable goals that will help improve the quality of their lives.
My first session with you
We will start off by getting to know each other and work to gain a better understanding of what the client needs. Building a sense of trust and comfort with one another.
