My approach
My approach is holistic, eclectic, and mindfully directed. I pull from therapeutic modalities such as Mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) to help clients achieve their goals and address issues such as negative self-talk, low self-esteem, and low self-worth. I am also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy, which helps clients process trauma and move past painful, debilitating memories.
My focus
Although I enjoy working with a diverse range of clients, I specialize in working with young adults who struggle with traumatic memories stemming from childhood trauma or childhood dysfunction as well as those struggling with anxiety, depression, self-harm, and low self-esteem.
My communication style
I believe in a warm, collaborative, and encouraging approach to therapy. While I bring my experience and therapeutic expertise to sessions, the focus of treatment is largely client determined. Together we will develop your goals and objectives for therapy, with a focus on the change you desire.
