Hello, my name is Kishea Paulemont and I am a licensed Mental Health Counselor. I firmly believe that mental health is a crucial component of our overall wellness, yet it often receives the least attention. My mission is to raise awareness about mental health and break the stigma surrounding it. Taking the first step by reaching out for help is something you should be proud of.

In my therapy sessions, I employ a person-centered approach. This means that each session is tailored specifically to your unique needs, focusing on exploring underlying trauma, experiences, and thoughts that may be impacting your mental well-being. My focus
I work with individuals, families, and minors (ages 13-17) who are seeking support for a wide range of mental health concerns. Some of my specialties include addiction, ADHD, alcohol use, anger management, anxiety, behavioral issues, coping skills, career counseling, bipolar disorder, depression, trauma and PTSD, infidelity, divorce, and domestic violence. No matter what challenges you are facing, I am here to provide compassionate guidance and evidence-based strategies for healing and growth.

My journey to mental healthcare
I hold a Master of Science degree in Mental Health from Touro University. My journey to becoming a mental health counselor was driven by a deep desire to make a positive difference in people's lives. I am passionate about empowering individuals to overcome obstacles, build resilience, and lead fulfilling lives. Through my education and clinical experience, I have developed a strong foundation in evidence-based practices and a holistic approach to mental health care.
