Hello! I'm Marianne Sponholz, an LCSW in the state of New York. My approach to therapy is to connect with you through active listening and supportive conversation to provide a secure and nurturing space to help you get what you want out of life.

My therapeutic approach is rooted in compassion and empathy with the aim of helping you navigate life's challenges. Using a psychodynamic framework, we will uncover behavioral patterns that are impacting your life now. This process helps you gain critical insight to confront the confines that are preventing you from achieving your full potential.

My primary areas of focus include depression, anxiety, relationship issues, family dynamics, low self-esteem, life transitions, sleep concerns, and stress.

I provide a safe, collaborative, judgment-free environment in which we can explore your goals and identify the barriers that are keeping you from living a satisfied, fulfilling life.
My journey to mental healthcare
My background in a Fortune 500 Human Resources capacity provided a foundation for my desire to work closely with individuals in a more intimate way. I combine business acumen with compassion and empathy.
