My focus
I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with my MA in Psychology and also have my certificate in drug counseling. I work with young adults and adults and have over 15 years of experience with substance abuse, mental health disorders, CBT, DBT, grief, and trauma issues.
My communication style
You deserve to have a life free of anxiety, sadness, flashbacks from past crises, and conflicts in relationships. Share your troubles with me so I can strengthen and empower you to help you manage your worries.
My journey to mental healthcare
I wanted to help other people who were going through difficulties and felt that they had no one to speak to or who felt judged. I wanted to be a therapist working with others who uses honesty and the strengths perspective to help build people up and not down. The clients that I have met and worked with continue to drive me to further my education and continue to work in the field.
My goals for you
I work with clients to achieve goals at a level they are comfortable with. If they are unable to achieve a goal, we can readjust their goal to make it more client-centered.
My first session with you
A client should begin the first session working to develop an amicable relationship with the therapist. A client should not expect to be judged and will begin working on and developing issues they would like to discuss.
