Hello! My name is Michelle Luszczewski. I hold my LCSW and LCADC licenses in Nevada.I firmly believe that just as everyone has a primary care physician, there is also a benefit in having a therapist. My goal is to create a safe space for you to feel your feelings, vent, ask for guidance and provide space to grow and heal. I specialize in addictions, co-occuring disorders, anxiety, stress, caregiver burnout, and trauma.
My approach
I believe in meeting my clients where they are at. We discuss your strengths and where you feel you are looking for guidance. I use motivational interviewing, CBT, CPT, DBT, and IFS. I pull from other modalities as needed and provide information to you on modalities we will be using to ensure your comfort with the work we will be doing. No one modality works for every person. We work together to find what will provide you with the best outcome.
My focus
I work with adults 20 years old and older. I specialize in addictions, co-occuring disorders, anxiety, stress, caregiver burnout, and trauma.
My communication style
My goal is to create a safe space for you to feel your feelings, vent, ask for guidance and provide space to grow and heal. My communication style differ from client to client depending on on their communication style.
My first session with you
During our first session I will be getting to know which means I will be asking many questions to gain an understanding of you and how to best assist you.
