Thank you for checking out my page. My name is Janel Washington and I am a Licensed Mental Health Provider. I’m currently licensed in 3 states, this includes North Carolina, Washington State, and Colorado.
My approach
I use CBT and ACT to help individuals explore and champion their most authentic self.
My focus
I mostly work with adults online. I have experience working with ADHD, Anxiety, Depression, Bipolar, Career and Life Changes.
My communication style
Safety is important. I like to provide a safe nonjudgmental environment. Which allows the client to feel free to be themselves.
My journey to mental healthcare
I became a therapist, to work with people to be able to accept themselves and create safety as they become their most authentic self. What drives me is wanting individuals to be able to advocate for themselves and create the life they deserve.
My goals for you
Goals are great ways to stay on track and make sure you arrive at your desired location. I have several ways of helping individuals achieve their goals in a balanced way and also holding clients accountable as well when needed.
My first session with you
During the first session, we will do a quick assessment, identify what’s most pressing in your life, and come up with a plan to address the issues(s).
