Hey! I'm Angela Allen, LCSW, who is passionate about supporting all of my clients through challenges to experience healing and growth to live their best lives. I have 5 years of experience in treating diverse clients with compassion and empathy, while fostering positive change in individuals and communities.
My approach
My style of practice is based on holistic approach along with individual based therapy needs. Each client has individual needs and their own unique story. I utilizes different therapeutic techniques based on individual needs from CBT, DPT, solution focused, talk therapy, faith-based therapy, and more
My focus
I have experience with all age groups. I typically work with ages 13 years and older. I am diverse with substance abuse, trauma, depression, gay/lesbian, bisexual issues, anxiety, PTSD, and other mental disorders.

I provide a safe environment for open communication and expression.
My journey to mental healthcare
I understand trauma (life) and the impact that is has on our lives and the way we function. I cannot stop all the negative things we face from happening, but I can help provide the skills that will make it a smoother ride. Helping others to be their best self and live the best life is what drives me in my career. Watching others learn their own strengths and move forward with positive thinking and self-love is my reward.

Goals are created by what the client is wanting to achieve. Goals are always interchangeable which provides clients a safe place to utilize self-determination. This is your journey, and you are the captain, I am here to help navigate, support, and help you along the way with the resources and skills needed.
My first session with you
I always starts out with striving to build a rapport by hearing what is expected of client. Will work together at figuring things out and working at your pace. I strive to create a warm, welcoming environment that allows you to feel comfortable sharing and being vulnerable, while also feeling secure.
