Hello my name is Lashannon Butler I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. My approach to therapy is meeting the client where they are and helping them get to a better place.
My approach
I like uses Client Centered Approach , CBT , Solution Focus Therapy.
My focus
I have treated clients in the passed that suffer from depression , anxiety , life changing events or transitions, grief , poor self esteem or self image.
My communication style
I will provide a encouraging safe nonjudgmental space where you will be heard and respected. I believe in listening and showing compassion and understanding in every situation.
My journey to mental healthcare
I'm a Clinical Social Worker and in my almost 20 years of experience as a social worker , I have always found myself in a clinical setting providing individual , group or family therapy. I enjoy empowering individuals to become the best version of themselves and providing the resources needed to enhance their lives.
My goals for you
I believe in allowing the client to be personal involved in setting goals and I will provide some goals for the client and myself.
My first session with you
The first session will be a conversation about the reasons for starting therapy and a get to know of myself and the client.
