My name is Tabatha F. Kenney and I am a compassionate therapist. I offer caring and compassionate therapy to teens and adults who are experiencing anxiety, divorce, depression, grief, school related problems and trauma. I also work with women experiencing life transition issues. I utilize two approaches to therapy. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution Focused. I would love to work with you as we create a new vision for your life.

My focus
My client focus is typically teens and adults, primarily women who are experiencing anxiety, divorce, depression, grief, school related problems and trauma. I also work with women experiencing life transition and women issues.
My communication style
I am a caring and compassionate therapist. I allow the client to work through and figure out the solutions to their problems while I facilitate the process.
My journey to mental healthcare
I have been a school counselor and a mental health therapist for over 25 years. I have worked with various populations of clients. I enjoy helping clients achieve success and work through difficult situations in life. It is my ministry and my life's calling.
My goals for you
I allow the client to determine their goals and desired outcomes for therapy and/or their future and I work along side the client to reach the goals that have been set forth by them. I serve as a support to the client in the therapeutic process.
My first session with you
The first session or two is where I build positive rapport and trust with the client. It is our time to get to know each other. I explain my approach to therapy and how I can be a support to them in the process.
