I'm here to assist my clients to develop and achieve goals and adapt coping skills by using tools which are client-focused and evidence-based. I am a U.S. Army Veteran who retired in 2004 after twenty years of active duty military service. In 2015, I graduated from the Webster University with a master’s degree in Counseling.
My approach
Behavioral Activation Therapy, Christian Counseling, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Eclectic, Relational, Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) and Trauma Focused.
My focus
My client focus is for clients 13-17 years old and 18-65 years old for individual, couples', and family therapy sessions.

My journey to mental healthcare
In 2015, I graduated from the Webster University with a master’s degree in Counseling. As a licensed professional counselor (LPC), I have worked in Behavioral Health facilities for over seven years. I primarily worked with clients experiencing depression, anxiety, life adjustment disorders, and PTSD. I have worked for private practice Mental Health agencies as well as the U.S. Army Behavioral Health and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs helping many veterans and civilians work through their PTSD. Additionally, I have worked in behavioral health centers assisting both men, women, and children struggling with learning disorders.

I operate in a spirit of excellence and professionalism with everyone regardless of age, gender identity, race, social-economic status, or sexual orientation. I will help you to develop goals and coping skills to help you break down barriers of the past and as well as current strongholds.
My first session with you
My client should expect to be heard and validated during the first session as I gather data to help the client develop a wellness/treatment plan specific for that client.
