My name is Joline Morgan LPC, I am licensed in Missouri and I specialize in neurodiversity, inner child healing, and Trauma, helping families and individuals who are struggling with challenges daily life
My approach
I specialize in neurodiversity, inner child healing, and Trauma, helping families and individuals who are struggling with challenges in daily life. My therapeutic style is eclectic, using a mix of CBT, CPT, and Psychodynamics for a lifespan approach to help you on your journey.
My focus
As a licensed professional counselor (LPC), I have worked in individual practice for five years. I primarily work with clients experiencing depression, eating disorders, and PTSD. I have worked with families and individuals who have experienced trauma and struggled to navigate neurodiversity and understand life choices.
My communication style
My counseling style is pretty laid-back. I have been described as supportive, caring, and compassionate, with a good sense of humor. I like to focus on identifying your strengths and helping you maximize them to overcome obstacles. I'm here to help you sort through the difficult things right now and offer you a safe place to be open and honest without fear of judgment.
My journey to mental healthcare
I have worked with many different populations during my career. I began as a social worker, child care advocate, and homeless/domestic violence director. While I enjoyed working with different populations, I realized that teaching them skills for self-esteem, trauma, and life goals would help them on their journey to advocate for themselves with confidence.
My goals for you
We will set goals together and work on achieving them at your own pace. We will discuss what struggles you're currently having and how to work toward success with attainable and measurable goals.
My first session with you
Our 1st session is a 'great and meet' session. It is to help us begin the therapeutic process in a safe and relaxed environment while building trust, support, and open communication.
