Hi there, I'm Shereese!

Hey y’all! I’m Reese Bell, LPC, your soon-to-be therapist and friendly guide. Struggling with anxiety or depression? No problem, I’ve got you! Imagine our sessions as a heart-to-heart with a side of therapy magic – think EMDR and mindfulness. Together, we’ll tackle those tough feelings and get you back to your fabulous self. I’m like your emotional GPS, helping you navigate to a happier, healthier you. Ready to start this journey with me?

My approach

I've been like a therapy guide, expertly integrating evidence-based practices to tackle anxiety, depression, trauma, and more. I've wielded Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to transform negative thoughts, used Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to help clients process trauma effectively, and brought in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) to promote relaxation and reduce stress. Plus, I've sprinkled in psychoeducation to keep everyone informed and engaged. High-quality, scientifically-backed care, delivered with the precision of a guide and the heart of a therapist!

My focus

As a licensed professional counselor and EMDR therapist, I specialize in helping children with ADHD and individuals with anxiety and depression disorders. My approach includes tailored therapy sessions, using techniques like CBT, play therapy, and EMDR to address each client's unique needs. Additionally, I offer public speaking, workshops, and consulting services to raise mental health awareness and improve support systems. My goal is to empower clients, build resilience, and enhance their overall mental well-being.

My communication style

I understand that reaching out for help can be a difficult and courageous step, and I want you to know that you are not alone in this journey. My approach to therapy is rooted in empathy and understanding, and I am here to support you every step of the way. Whether you are dealing with ADHD, anxiety, depression, or simply need someone to talk to, I am committed to providing a safe and compassionate space for you to heal and grow. Please don't hesitate to reach out to me—I am here to help you build resilience and find the path to a more fulfilling life.

My journey to mental healthcare

I became a therapist because I've always been a helper at heart, driven by a deep desire to support others. From a young age, I felt a calling to assist those around me, ensuring they felt okay with who they were. My passion lies in guiding people on their journey to self-love and empowerment, helping them embrace their true selves and find strength in their personal stories. Being a therapist allows me to fulfill this purpose every day, making a positive impact in the lives of my clients.

My goals for you

When it comes to goal setting, I believe in a collaborative and empowering approach that feels like a team effort. We start by chatting about your dreams and challenges, making sure your goals are front and center. Together, we'll craft a plan that's as unique as you are, setting achievable steps to get there. Think of it as a friendly roadmap to your best self, with you in the driver’s seat!

My first session with you

During the first session, clients can expect a relaxed and welcoming environment where we'll get to know each other. We'll discuss your background, including your personal history and any relevant experiences that have shaped your journey. This is also a time for me to understand how you prefer to communicate—whether you're more comfortable with open conversation, guided questions, or other styles. Our goal is to establish a comfortable and supportive space where we can work together effectively.
