My name is Declan, I am a licensed clinical social worker, mental health counselor and psychotherapist. I am licensed in Nevada, Minnesota, Manitoba and Ontario, with 11 years of professional work history. I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, relationship issues, motivation, self esteem, and confidence, & depression. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs. My communication style
I am an assertive communicator. I am highly empathic, yet will tell you the truth from a professional viewpoint, no matter how it hurts. I do have a came and calming tone of voice and I speak moderately, not fast and not slow.
My journey to mental healthcare
I have a relative who deals with depression and schizophrenia. This motivated me to go into counselling so as to be able to help.
