Hello, I am Irene (Irina). I hold the license of the Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in the state of Maryland.
My approach
In my practice, I use an integrative approach that includes several evidence-based techniques. The foundation of my method is empathic understanding and unconditional positive regard. I am truly convinced that every person has the potential to grow and achieve positive life change.
My focus
I specialize in working mostly with children and families. Also, I see couples and individual adults. I offer help with managing high level of stress, anxiety, depression, and other mental health conditions.
My communication style
Sometimes, we can no longer handle the problem alone. It is probably the time to seek professional help. We can work on it together and find the best possible solution for you and your loved ones. I create a safe and comfortable environment in the session where you feel supported and deeply understood. I look forward to working with you as my client(s) and achieving a positive life change.
